‘Walk an Hour in their Shoes’ 11:30-12:30 on Sunday 3 April starting from EHRS.

This is our EHRS sponsored walk in aid of the World Jewish Relief and World Union for Progressive Judaism Ukrainian crisis appeals. Turn up at EHRS at 11:20 on Sunday 3 April. Feel welcome to bring a stroller, dog, wheelchair and anyone who would like to join you.

We ask that you collect at least £10 sponsorship or donate £10 or more to join this two mile walk.

Of course if you cannot walk please do feel most welcome to donate to our two causes World Jewish Relief or World Union for Progressive Judaism.

In the middle of our walk we will meet up with the members of The Liberal Synagogue Elstree and their Rabbi Tanya Sakhnovich. Rabbi Tanya escaped from Kiev with her son, brother and niece on the day that the Russian invasion of Ukraine started. She will share her experiences of four days in a car trying to get out of the country. Together we will share food at our half way mark and when we get back to shul.
