Young Families
Edgware & Hendon Reform Synagogue welcome you join our Young Families Community. Our Young Families programme runs events, groups and support for you and your little ones. Get involved to give your little munchkins a taste of our wonderfully welcoming and fun family events, a fantastic opportunity to meet other young Jewish Families. We work closely with our Education Director, Youth Workers, Nagila nursery and of course our Rabbis to make every meeting special for the whole family.

Sing & Sensory
Sing & Sensory
Tuesdays, 11:00-11:45 (term time only)
A music & sensory class for babies (non-walkers) followed by chill out time in our brand new state of the art sensory room!
Join us each week as we have fun exploring different themes such as; transport, the weather, space, animals, Jewish festivals and more!

Shabbat Stay & Play

Friday Mornings, 10:30 – 11:45
(runs during term time)
This Term 6 January – 31 March (half term 17 February)
Join us for a morning of fun and creativity at our Shabbat Stay & Play, for babies and toddlers. There will be singing, toys, a lovely Kiddush and refreshments. We welcome parents, carers and grandparents. This will run weekly. Booking required.
Donation: EHRS Members £2 per child, Non Members £4 per child, £1 extra per sibling
Attending sessions can be counted towards Jewish school application CRP collection

Shabbat Club

Saturday mornings, 11:15
A monthly Shabbat experience for up to 11 year olds to enjoy Parasha and Shabbat themed activities, stories and songs. Under 5 year olds must be accompanied by an adult. Finishing in time to join the community for Kiddush around 12:15.

Kuddle Up for Mental Wellbeing

The usual songs and joyful start to Shabbat for our younger members, with a particular focus on wellbeing for Mental Health Shabbat. Especially for our youngest children and their parents and carers. You are welcome to arrive and play from 15:45.

Join our Rabbis and the Shabbat Dinosaur at EHRS for stories and songs to welcome in Shabbat. Best for younger children. You can come from 15:45 for a play date at shul!

Chumash Babies
Chumash Babies – A sensory Shabbat experience for your five senses
Saturday, 10:30-11:30 (Next date to be confirmed)
This is a special Shabbat experience for our very youngest children, their parents, siblings and grandparents. It brings together baby sensory play and Jewish ways of experiencing the wonder of Shabbat.
See, hear, feel, taste and smell Shabbat with your baby! Followed by a Shabbat brunch to help us all get to know each other. Booking essential so that we cater properly!
