‘Pride’ 2014
In celebration of Pride Month, we will be showing the British made comedy-drama ‘Pride’, starring Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Andrew Scott and Ben Schnetzer.

Based on the inspirational and uplifting true story, it depicts a group of gay and lesbian activists who raised money to help families affected by the British miners’ strike in 1984. During the strike, the two seemingly contrasting communities come together to form a surprising and ultimately triumphant partnership.
This film shows real life situations, conversations and dialogue, sometimes using strong language that is relevant to the context of the feature.

We will be offering at light buffet supper from 18:30, the film will start at 19:30. £5 donation towards food. Booking essential so we know how many to cater for.
