The Many Mitzvot of Milk Banking with Dr Natalie Shenker
As this weeks portion announces the birth and weaning of Isaac, Dr Natalie Shenker, co-founder and director of the Human Milk Foundation will explain how milk banking works, and how important it is for premature babies and mothers who may not be able to establish breast feeding. We will explore the different ways Isaac and Ishmael’s descendants have grappled with the topic, and learn about the Hearts Milk Bank – a local endeavour changing lives. With Rabbi Debbie.
