Jews and the World Politics
Tuesday 18 July, 19:30 at EHRS and on Zoom

We, the Jews, know a lot about persecution & discrimination. Should it then affect our sense of responsibility towards other persecuted minorities? The Armenian Genocide and the blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh, the war & genocide in Kosovo, persecution of Uygurs and Kurds, the war in Ukraine. We will meet civilian representatives of those minorities as well as  members of the Governments of Nagorno-Karabakh and Kosovo. We will talk about their challenges, learn from each other and create a plan of action.

Join Phil Dave and Rabbi Tanya for a conversation & discussion at the launch of these new series of talks, discussing our Jewish place in the world and a text study. Nibbles & drinks will be provided at 19:30, event begins at 20:00.

Please note that the rest of these series will take place on Zoom only as our guests will join us from different corners of the world.
(Dates for August, September & October to be confirmed.)
