The Movement for Reform Judaism (MRJ) and Liberal Judaism (LJ) aim to create a New Progressive Jewish Movement together  

On this evening the new Chief Executive of MRJ, Rabbi Josh Levy, and the Chief Executive of LJ, Rabbi Charley Baginsky, are coming to EHRS to meet with us.

We will talk together about this proposal, the opportunities it could bring us and the challenges it could pose.

This will be an open conversation to hear all of the ideas and concerns we have and for Rabbis Josh and Charley to share with us the rationale for the proposal and how EHRS will retain its unique character within it, whilst benefitting from the strength of the Movement.

This forum follows Rabbi Mark’s sermon and two shiurim at EHRS in May and June, which gave the historical and values background.
