Ethiopia: Cradle of Humankind & Preserver of Judaism. In November 2023, Rabbi Mark travelled with EHRS member Kevin Darvill, Chair of Meketa, and Rabbi Sybil Sheridan to Ethiopia. There they spent Shabbat with part of the Addis Ababa Jewish community, visited five tribes in the South of the country whose lives have much to teach us about our people’s origins and met Lucy who lived more than 2 million years ago. Join us to find out what they experienced.
