Parashat Metzora – Chapter 14 of Leviticus includes within it the infamous affliction of tzora’at, often translated as leprosy or some other type of skin disease. Did a plague of leprosy really wreak havoc on the sinners of ancient Israel? And what does tzora’at, whatever it may be, teach us about ancient Israelite society? With Cantor Tamara.
