Bark Mitzvah Service at EHRS in the Courtyard (Car Park)
Saturday 12 August, 11:00-12:00

Yes, for the third glorious year running, we really mean it – on the week when we enter the month of Elul, traditionally the Jewish New Year for Animals, Rabbi Mark invites you to bring your pet to the Synagogue for us to celebrate the place of animals in our lives. You will be surprised at how much the dogs get involved in the service!

Today we thank them with special prayers and blessings and the Torah portion of Re’eh read from the point of view of the animals.

You are of course welcome to come if you don’t have a pet or if yours is not transportable – just bring a photo.

Wet weather plan – bring an umbrella!
