TV Addicts Club, 19:30-22:00

In each series of the TV Addicts Club, we meet fortnightly on a Thursday evening, to enjoy brand new and old classics of movies. Come along and meet people with the same enthusiasm, and relax in front of the box with delicious treats to enjoy whilst we watch. All are welcome! With a dog named Lulu by his side, Army Ranger Briggs races down the Pacific Coast to make it to a soldier’s funeral on time. Along the way, Briggs and Lulu drive each other completely crazy, break a handful of laws, narrowly evade death, and learn to let down their guards to have a fighting chance of finding happiness.

A serious film framed as a comedy with a realistic sense of what it’s like of the impact of war on both man and animal. It shows that something good can come out of trauma, and healing can happen in many unexpected ways.
