Reverse Taschlich with EcoJudaism & Repair the Sea, 10:30-12:00 (offsite)

Tashlich is a ceremony observed on the afternoon of the first day of Rosh Hashanah, in which sins are symbolically cast away into a natural body of water. The term and custom are derived from a verse in the Book of Micah (7:19). The EHRS Eco Synagogue Group also organises a “Reverse Tashlich”.

We will be going on this morning to help take the rubbish out of the water (rather than throwing bread into it!) at the Silk Stream in Watling Park, Burnt Oak from 10:30-12:00. We can also take a picnic so that we can meet each other and socialise.

The Eco Group worked on this stream last year and so we will be able to see how it has progressed over the year.

No need to let us know if you are coming, just come along, the more the merrier!

Walk into the park near 40 Fortescue Road HA8 0HN and you will find us by the stream.
