Erev Tisha B’Av Service and exploring the Music of Lament with Student Cantor Rachel Weston & Rabbi Mark

On Tisha B’Av we commemorate the destruction of both temples, and many other Jewish disasters. We will share a beautiful, candlelit service, with specially selected readings, moving music and the reading of the book of Eichah.

Following the service we will also have the chance to explore the beautiful and moving music that Jews have created to console themselves, in Hebrew and Yiddish with Student Cantor Rachel Weston, who is completing her training this year at Hebrew Union College in New York.
