On Tisha B’Av we commemorate a number of sad events which have changed the course of Jewish history, the destruction of the First and Second Temples, the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492 and England in 1290.
Rabbi Sandra and Rabbi Mark will lead a reading of the Megillah Eichah/Lamentations and then we will consider how Judaism and Jewish communities have repaired themselves after such deep shattering.
What might we learn from this process of repair today?
