Cookalong – Scandinavian Herring
Tuesday 1 July at 20:00 – IN PERSON EVENT
This month: Join Rabbi Sandra as we make Scandinavian herring.
Danish Smørrebrød is an all time classic, and is eaten at home and in restaurants. It is a whole experience, with specific rules of what to eat when, which are never explained but just assumed to be known.
Come along and learn to make the classic ‘Karrysild’ or herring in a mild curry and thyme dressing, complete with all the extras, and learn a few facts about the importance of herring, and the right way to eat this Danish delicacy. It’s perfect for a summer lunch.
Please email sandra.kviat@ehrs.uk for details.
Booking is essential so we can provide the right amount of ingredients.
