Choral Evening Service for Yom HaShoah

This year we will hear testimony from EHRS member Kurt Marx, who has returned to Germany to speak about his experiences during the Nazi period to young Germans, and from the daughter of a brave woman, Margaret Pritchard Houston recognised as ‘Righteous Among the Nations.‘

During the service, we will be remembering the names of victims of the Holocaust who were relatives of our synagogue members, and then say a communal Kaddish in their memory. If you know of members of your family who perished in the Holocaust, please let us know their names and their relationship to you. Please email june.lewis@ehrs.uk or call 020 8238 1000 by Tuesday 6 April at 12:00 at the latest. The service will include lighting our Yellow Candles in memory of children who perished in the Shoah.
