Israel’s 2020 Elections - an opportunity for change?
Tuesday 25 February, 20:00 - 21:30 at EHRS
Amnon-Be’eri Sulitzeanu, co-CEO of The Abraham Initiatives (over from Israel), will give a unique perspective on the forthcoming elections, potential outcomes, the growing political voice of Israel’s Arab citizens & prospects for peace.
Amnon will be interviewed by EHRS member Laurence Kaye, past Chair of EHRS’s Israel Committee and a Trustee of Abraham Initiatives UK. There will be lots of opportunity for questions and discussion in this event, hosted by Rabbi Mark Goldsmith.
The Abraham Initiatives works to promote positive Jewish-Arab relations in Israel. Their goal is to fulfil the promise of full and equal citizenship and complete equality of social and political rights for Jewish and Arab citizens, as embodied in Israel's Declaration of Independence: A state which is the national homeland of the Jewish people and a full, complete and equal home for its Arab-Palestinian national minority.
