The modern hall, approximately 16m x 13m (52’ x 43’), allows for functions of around 150 seated guests with plenty of space for dancing to music from the band or disco on the stage. By using an extension to increase the capacity, the room can then accommodate up to 200 people.

Situated on the ground floor level access to the hall is through double doors leading to the Woolstone Gallery, in which receptions are often held, and from there through two sets of double doors to the hall. The ground floor cloakroom and toilets, including a dedicated disabled facility, are all easily accessible and the whole building is disabled friendly.

The hire charge includes the use of the large well equipped kitchen, tables and chairs and the provision of security caretaking staff during the period of hire.


Although the Synagogue keeps a ‘milky’ kitchen for its own internal usage, it is happy to allow catered events where meat is served if prepared on the premises under approved rabbinical supervision. Catered events have taken place that are supervised under the recognised authorities
